English for Academic Purposes

This  course focus on speaking, listening, reading and writing skills required in a university environment. Students are prepared for degree level study at UK universities by:

• becoming familiar with the academic environment and conventions of the British Higher Education system
• listening to academic lectures
• taking effective notes
• reading academic texts quickly and effectively
• expressing ideas clearly and accurately in academic writing
• giving oral presentations.
